The Almond Blossom Meaning

In Greek mythology the Almond Blossom is a symbol for constancy in love and eternal hope.

Almond trees flower in late winter/early spring and therefore mark the arrival of spring and the start of a new life. They are the first trees to blossom in Israel making them an ancient Jewish symbol of renewal, hope and diligence. 

Vincent Van Gough created his famous Almond Blossom painting as a gift for his newborn nephew, who was named after the famous artist.
